Alex Ubago was crazy for one night (Carlota & Manu)

We are going to talk about what Alex Ubago did with his ex-girlfriend after breaking up with her.

First of all, all he did when he was with her was going out with friends and made songs about another girls. She was very angry with him but he never realized that later they will break up.

The serious problem started when Alex came into his house drunk and started screaming bad things at her, while he was doing it she cried and said that she never wanted to see him again.

Alex began to be worried about all what happened last days, and he thought that he should call her to apologize and if the relationship had already finished, they would have friends.

He decided to try it as well as he could but she never took his calls any more.

So in my opinion I tnink that drugs and alcohol turned him into another man far from what he really seems to be when he write his ¨beautiful¨ songs.

Tote King went to IH Music TV Show with Álex Ubago, where both had a very nice night talking about their new songs.

"The Walk" is the new song of Tote, which explains carefully every detail of his life. Tote talks, principally, about a girl. They decided to broke up two years ago and we can say that he didn't overcome it. In this period of their relationship Tote was very concentrated in his music, so the girl used to be very angry every day so they decided to split up.

Another interesting fact of this song is that helped Tote to find himself. It helped him too to spend more time thinking about his things and how could he forgot the bad memories.Tote is writing new songs, in addition of this one, for his new CD.

Some people say that Tote has been seen with a girl in the beach. Is that true? And if it's true...who is she? Is she going to be his muse for his new CD? Is she going to break Tote's heart? Maybe, we'll know it in a near future.

Tote King is going to stay in Madrid in the Heineken Music Concert in September 7th, where he is going to sing this fabulous song.

Views of Japan

What kind of society do what the Japanese do?

After suffering one of the most devastating natural disasters ever known, the Japanese people have demonstrate that they form the most developed human community on earth. Their behavior and the way they have responded is impressive. No robbery, no abuse has been committed after this catastrophic event.

The response of the tsunami and earth-quake victims in following the instructions given by the authorities, gives us an idea of what kind of education they receive. We could think that the behavior is due to a strict military dictatorship as in China or North Korea. However, it is the success of the real democracy. The last survey indicates that most of the Japanese agreed the Government increase the taxes for helping the victims and the Country after this disaster.

Therefore, people of other countries should learn from the Japanese and try to improve the compromise with the society in which we live, helping the group before thinking of the individual.

Aimee Mullins--a real sports hero

Aimee Mullins was born 1976 in Allentown Pennsylvania in the USA. Is American athlete, actress, and fashion model and former President of the Women's Sports Foundation.

In 1999, she modelled for British fashion designer Alexander Mc Queen in his London show.

Aimee Mullins was actress and her debut went movie un chien andalou in 1929

she was graduating of school from the departament of defense, her love of competitive sport

in 1999 debut of the model in London at the invitation of one of the world's most celebrated fashion designers, Alexander McQueen.

Miss Sarajevo

Miss Sarajevo is the only single in the album Original soundtracks by U2 (Bono and the Edge), in a parallel project of The Passengers. It was compoused by Bono and interpreted by him, Luciano Pavarotti, The Edge and Brian Eno (a famous producer) during a concert in Verona, Italy. It highlights the voice of Pavarotti with Bono and the violins.

The song and the videoclip are about an event which happened during the war in the old Yugoslavia, in the city of Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina. This city was attacked by the Serbian, Muslims and Croatian armies. In these riots, hundreds of people died daily. In the middle of this chaos, some citizens created a beauty competition.

The context, the city

Bonia and Herzegovina is a sovereign European state, with the capital in Sarajevo, situated in the peninsula of the Balkans, in the southeast part of the continent. Its borders are bounded by Croatia at the north, west and south, Serbia and Montenegro at the east and the Adriatic sea in the south. In 1992 it obtained its independence as one of the six federal unit constituents in the old Yugoslavia which emerged at the end of the first World War, and was constitued according to the terms of the agreement of Dyton, which foresaw its administration. It’s divided into two entities: Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Srpska Republic.

The war

The Bosnian war was an international conflict which happened in Bosnia/Herzegovina from 6 April 1992 to 14 December 1995. It was caused by a complex combination of political and religious factors: pride exaltation, political crisis, social problems and lack of security that followed at the end of the Cold War and the fall of the Communist system in the old Yugoslavia.

The history behind the beauty pageant

The anecdote which is based on Miss Sarajevo happened during the Balkan War, in the early nineties.

In a city besieged by bombs, a group of people called a beauty contest, to crown a Miss Sarajevo for the first time. For this event a special effort was made by the European administration in order for it to be transmitted to the whole world. Most girls that participated in the audition showed physical traces of the war on their bodies. A parade of malnourished adolescents in swimsuits was shown in front of the cameras, in an extravagant show.

A young girl about 17 years old won the title. At the end of the show a banner showed the sentence: DON’T LET THEM KILL US!.

After the conflict

The winner of the contest Inela Nogic moved to the Netherlands with a Dutch journalist and was married for six years. There, she has lived since then. Despite her history an urban myth was created according to which she was murdered by a sniper after the beauty contest. In the concert which was celebrated at the Kosovo stadium, on 23 September 1997, Nogic arrived at the city with U2, in the private plane of the group and acompanying them on a tour on the devastated city before the concert started, where she was a guest. After she worked as a model, she started profesionally to be an art designer, settling down in Amsterdam. Despite all, she has decided to be in anonymity.
